Alistair McDonagh qualified as an avocat in 1994. He holds a B.A. in law from the University of Oxford (Worcester College, 1978), a Maîtrise in Business Law (1982) and a DEA in European Community, Economic and International Law (1994) from the University of Lille II. He commenced his career with the Regional Council before going into the law.
With more than 20 years’ experience advising international clients in French law he has worked steadily to bridge the gap between legal cultures. Fields of practice cover company law, contract law, mergers & acquisitions, commercial litigation and employment law. Softly spoken, he is nevertheless a lawyer who regularly appears before commercial courts, the employment tribunals as well as the Courts of Appeal.
